WINTER OLYMPIADE 1936 - WINTER OLYMPICS 1936 - The Great Days - Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany) - Sticker album published by the AUSTRIA cigarette factory in Munich - Complete album. Text by Fritz Kiemeyer and Fritz Winter. Photographs by Schirner - Berlin. Color and black-and-white stickers documenting the Olympic Games - including SS flags, German athletes giving the Nazi salute, and leaders of the Nazi party.

An album documenting the various athletes participating in the Winter Olympic Games held in Nazi Germany in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, mainly in the areas of skiing and figure skating. All the stickers in the album are described with the author glorifying the ability of German athletes over those of other nations. Among other things, stickers appear with swastika flags, as well as stickers in which the German athletes are seen giving the Nazi salute. A special page is dedicated to the day when Adolf Hitler arrived as an honored guest to conclude the Olympics, with a sticker depicting him on the balcony above the Olympic symbol, and a heroic description: "On the afternoon of February 16, all of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and more than 140,000 of its guests prepare to celebrate the conclusion of the 1936 Winter Olympics. As dusk falls, the Leader and Chancellor of the German Reich appears, who also shows his interest in this important event on the last day of the Fourth Winter Olympics. The 28 countries march again with their flags. The winners of the Fourth Olympic Winter Games then arrive through the eastern gate, the holders of Olympic gold medals from Germany...". In the final pages of the album, the text praises Adolf Hitler thanks to whom Germany became a great power honoring German sports, in contrast to his predecessors who in previous years advocated for Germany's non-participation in the Olympic Games.

The 4th Winter Olympics were held from February 6 to February 16, 1936 in the city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
At this Olympics athletes from 17 countries participated. Four Jewish athletes participated in these Olympics - Rudi Ball (Nazi Germany) - ice hockey, Felix Kasper (Austria) - figure skating, Emilia Rotter (Hungary) - figure skating, Laszlo Szollás (Hungary) - figure skating.
