An interesting and rare collection of 15 bags of sugar 5 grams, for coffee shops. On each bag printed a portrait of an influential Jewish figure in the 20th century, the years of her life, and on the back a few lines about the figure. The 1970s. Apears bags of Benjamin Ze'ev Herzl, Albert Einstein, Rabbi Kook, Max Nordau, Moses Montefiore, Chaim Weizmann, Henrietta Szold, Zvi Herman Shapira, Meir Dizengoff, Nahum Sokolov, Pinhas Rotenberg, Alexander Zeid, Aharon Aharonson, Eliyahu Golomb and Naftali Hertz Imber. The publisher managed to summarize both the personality, and its activity in the Zionist sense, sometimes in a naïve manner, in one sentence: for example, about Albert Einstein: "the greatest scientist of the 20th century... active in the realization of the goals of Zionism together with Chaim Weizmann". the bag of Rabbi Kook: "He worked to bring secular and religious people together. Assessed the pioneering enterprise and saw it as the basis for repentance." In a bag of Naftali Hirtz Imber written: 'A type of Bohemian goodness. Author of the national anthem Hatikvah". About Chaim Weizmann: "His scientific aid to Britain contributed to the decision on the Balfour Declaration," and more. It is possible that the bags were manufactured in Argentina for the local community, although this detail was not fully clarified. The same size: 6.5 x 4.5 cm. In all bags, the sugar is complete, not used, very fine condition.
