The affidavit states that it was drafted under the Reich Ordinance of July 24, 1940 (which was enacted under the first regulation of the Reich Citizenship Act of the Nuremberg Laws of November 14, 1935), and that a 'Jew' is a former Polish citizen or a person without known citizenship whose grandparents Are Jews, like a person who belonged to or joined the religious Jewish community as of September 1, 1939 (the date of Nazi Germany's invasion of Poland), is considered a Jew even if no details about his grandparents are known, was married to a Jew from the date this order was passed.
