Chanukah Lamp - Knobs and Flowers, cast brass.
Large lamp. At the head of the Menorah is a Star of David (not usually found in Chanukah lamps of this type). Her arms, curled upward, are decorated with a Knobs and a flower, and are attached to the axes that can be directed. The lamp stands on a circular base supported by three fish-shaped legs.
A lamp that was made in the 19th century in the style of the father type in the work of Hanukkah lamps by Valentin Schiller [1650-1726]. Lamps in this style also stood in the Nachmanovitch synagogue in Lvov, and in Altneuschul in Prague.
