A rare and early photograph of the poet, paratrooper, and Hero - Hannah Szenes [1921-1944], from her teens.
It is very rare to find a photograph of Hannah Szenes in a close-up image such as the one before us. In most of her well-known photographs after arriving in Eretz Israel, she appears in the company of young men and women from Nahalal. Photographs of her from the Budapest period are almost non-existent.
