A letter in the handwriting and signature of Abba Even at the end of his political career in which he thanks to Shaul Ben Simhon for his support, and informs him that he decided to run in the top ten following things he wrote to him "you served as a source of loyal encouragement to me." 5/30/1988.

Although he decided to run in the same primaries in the Labor Party for the 12th Knesset held in 1988 he was not elected to run for high places on the list (top ten and second) and finally preferred to retire from the race. Abba Even was appointed chairman of the board of directors of Beit Berl, and served in that position for several years. In his last years he retired from political life, devoting his time to writing, teaching and lecturing.

[1] Official Knesset letterhead page. 30x21 cm. Folding marks, good condition.
