"Prayer for the great soul of Moreno, the Gaon of Israel ... Rabbi Israel Meir son of Rabbi Aryeh Ze'ev HaCohen zt" l - a prayer and eulogy for Maran Chafetz Chaim by the Ga'on Rabbi Chaim Brody was published on the occasion of the shiva of Maran's death in " 24 Elul, 1933.
In the eulogies, Rabbi Brody sums up the great virtues of Maran Ha-Chafetz Chaim who "excited our hearts with the words of his teacher ..." and "night and day he conceived in the Torah of g-o-d." He also adds: 'פטפט ביצרו – ויעש לו מלחמה בתחבולות...' Which seems to imply the custom of the Chofetz Chaim at night to conduct negotiations with his inclination as a dispute with a person standing before him. Toward the end of the obituary, Rabbi Brody refers to the great deficiency of those who remain: "'נטל יקרנו, אין מנהל לעדרנו, אין גודר פרץ גדרנו... ולנו אשר נפשותינו דאות ופורחות...' The Ga'on Rabbi Chaim Brody [1868-1942] of the great Hungarian rabbis, grandson of the author of the Shulchan Aruch, Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried. In 1891 he moved to Berlin to the Rabbinical Seminary there and headed the Haredi stream in the city.
Rarely, it is not registered in the bibliography factory, and does not appear in the National Library.
