Among other things, there are interesting texts of readings on Zionist topics: "In our city on Herzl Street...", "My father traveled like a tourist to Eretz Israel...", "Under the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a large fair in our city...", "The purpose of Ben Yehuda is to spread the Hebrew language...", Aliyah to Eretz Israel will be in Av, because then the days are nice...", and more.
From issue 39, which was published in April 1934, and with the arrival of rumors about the bitter fate of European Jewry, excerpts began to appear in the issues incorporating the difficult events: " One refugee came the other day from Germany and his name was Josef, he was a bookkeeper with a German merchant. A great miser was his master and evil spirit, when he was writing in front of him he would tremble in fear lest he make even the slightest mistake... Especially when the proclamation was to savagely persecute the Jews in Germany. He did not despair and asked to go... He traveled from Germany to France, and from there he passed through Spain and came to Maroc (Morocco)... And he intends to go to the East, to the dear land of his forefathers, the Holy Land of Israel". In one issue there is an excerpt : "Tonight I saw a German wandering the streets of the city, not knowing where he would turn... In recent days, Israel in Germany have known no rest, their troubles have been innumerable, and many of them have left the country, and I trust that soon many more Jews will leave it...".

After the establishment of the Zionist movement in Libya in the late 1920s, which lasted five years, the "Tripolitan Zionist Organization" succeeded in founding the "Ben Yehuda" Association (named after Eliezar Ben Yehuda) in the early 1930s, which then began extensive Zionist activity: introducing the Hebrew language, according to the slogan "Hebrew speak Hebrew"; In addition to publishing the weekly magazine before us "Learn Hebrew" the Society performed plays in Hebrew on biblical and national topics; teaching Hebrew to adults; opening an extensive Hebrew library; organization of sports games; holding assemblies with many people; holding ceremonies and parties on every religious and national holiday; collecting funds and weigh the shekel for the Zionist Organization and the Jewish National Fund. The highlight of Ben-Yehuda's activities was the establishment of the "HaTikva" Hebrew school for Israeli children (in Cheshvan 1931), directed by Amishadai Gwita.
