The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman [1868-1953] the Chief Rabbi of Glasgow and Rabbi of London, author of a series of books "Or HaYashar". Father-in-law of the Chief Rabbi of Israel Yitzhak Isaac Halevi Herzog. Already at the age of 20 he was appointed rabbi and head of the Beit din in Razino - Belarus. Received ordination from the greatest of the generation: the Aderet, Rabbi Raphael Shapira, Rabbi Meir Simcha, and the Ridbaz. In 1914 he was appointed Raba"d London. In 1934 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Jerusalem. He founded the "Ohel Torah" Yeshiva in the Rehavia neighborhood, which served as a kollel for well-known scholars. Among them: Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wazner, and Rabbi Binyamin Yehoshua Zilber.
