Mekor Chaim on Hilchot Pesach by Rabbi Ya'akov son of Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe of Lissa The copy of the elder dayanim in Krakow Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Leibish HaLevi Horowitz.

On the title page is an owner's stamp of 'Chaim Aryeh HaLevi of Horowitz, Av Beit Din of Zalkawa and now ... Karakah.' On page 2, probably glosses in his handwriting, additional glosses by different writers from the time of printing on several leaves. On the last leaflet there is a long owners' inscription that relates the book to Rabbi Chaim Aryeh HaLevi. Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Leibush Horowitz grandson of the Ga'on Rabbi Meshulam Ischar HaLevi Horowitz author of "Bar Levi" and was educated on his knees in Stanislav, the son of the gaon Rabbi Shaul HaLevi Horowitz, author of "Teshuvot Besamim Rosh" was known as a great and wise sage. Author of the "Michtav Sofer". From his books, Responsa Chayei Aryeh [Kraków 1890] and more. In the introduction to his book, "Chayei Aryeh", he greatly elaborated upon the attribution of his holy ancestors to the highest level in the sacred for several hundred years, beginning with the expulsion of his books: "הארכתי קצת בהתילדותי על משפחתי. ואף שיש להוסיף עוד כהנה וכהנה אך קצר המצע מהשתרע... אלא מפני שהדורות הבאים לא ידעו מקור מחצבתם קודש... ע"כ הנני נותן בזה את ראשי משפחתי הנשאה...' "(see also the Sages of Galicia, p. 203- 208).
The author of the book, Rabbi Ya'akov son of Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe of Lissa, was born and raised with his cousin Yosef Tomim of Burstein and R. Meshulam Igra, the son-in-law of Naftali Hirtz of Stanislav, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Yakil Ashkenazi of Rymanov. He authored "Havat Daat" Lemberg 1799, and more. He was absorbed in the "Eye of a Tear" by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger - in "Evel moshe" . [Wonder-Galicia 3, Otzar HaRabbanim 15488].
