Photographer Pinchas Rahman [Richman] [1888-1953]: Born in Kiev, studied there at the art school, and was even active in the Zionist organizations. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1909 where he met Prof. Boris Schatz. Following the warm acquaintance between the two, Rahman came to study at Bezalel for several years. He returned from Jerusalem to Jaffa and founded a photograph, which became one of the first cooperatives in the land of Israel. His photographs are considered extremely rare.
