On the note before us, an attempt was made to change certain details in the design of the note in favor of a similar note that was later issued in the Land of Israel. At the top, instead of the line with the caption: "National Committee for the Jews of the Land of Israel" is written "Knesset of Israel in the Land of Israel National Committee", and the amount on it is different. Instead of 5 pennies, there are 50 miles of Eretz Israel. It is possible that the captions were made by Meir Gur Arieh himself. The changes were indeed accepted and in Eretz Israel the note came out with the caption that appears on the note before us. (Attached is a picture of the note in its final design).
