Photograph of Baldwin 10-12-D class from the British War Department in Palestine Jaffa Field Railway. Baldwin locomotives 45163–45222 from batch 1001–1104 were renumbered by the British War Office for War Department light trains, No. 581–640 in the Middle East and were sent to Egypt for use in Sinai and Palestine during the British offensive against the Turks in 1917.
