A journey book following the rivers and lakes of Eretz Israel that appear in the Bible, accompanied by 14 high-quality color lithographs across 9 plates. The lithographs in the book were made using a special technique of combining several types ink known as "Nelson prints". The image of each plate is first printed from lithographic ink in purple ink. The plate is then painted in light blue and brown in shades of separate relief wood blocks, giving them a delicate and precise look. Many of the events described in the Bible took place around rivers and lakes, The book links each event to the river or lake in which the event took place, and it relies on a number of sources, including Robinson's "Studies in Palestine", "The Narrative of the American Exploration Expedition to Jordan and the Dead Sea" of Lynch, Stanley's "Sinai and Palestine" and more.
