An albumen photograph of the Jehoshaphat Valley with Yad Avshalom in Jerusalem, by the Zangki brothers (signed in the plate "Zangaki"), the 1880s- 1890s.

Brothers Adelfi and Konstantin Zangki - photographers from Greek descent, worked in the East in the 80s and 90s of the 19th century. Hundreds of photographs are known to have been taken, but very few have survived. Most of the photographs they took focused on cities and sites visited by pilgrims.

Size: 28x22 cm. Glued to cardboard 33x24 cm. Very good condition.
