Tractate Chulin, Shofar Publishing, Miskolc [Hungary], 1941. With Important Approbation by the Rebbe of Satmar Rabbi Joel Teitelelbaum for the Necessity of Printing During the Difficult times: "Because in our many sins the cities of Israel have been destroyed and those who have been involved in publishing holy books have died, and the printings has also died ... which is why many books are missing ... and this may cause the Torah to be forgotten G-d forbid... " I n addition, there is further approbation by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich Av Beit Din Shimlauy, the publisher father.

In most European countries, printing houses ceased operating in 1939, and even earlier, and those of Hungarian Jewry, although also was Under severe distress, continued to print books at risk until the German army entered the spring of 1944.

Missing tears on title page [on the margins, and "Seal Place" of the consent of the Satmar Rebbe], old cardboard binding. The Gemara body is in good condition.
