Pressburg 1886 - On the proper way to organize settlement in Eretz Israel, and on the idea of settling the Land of Israel in general in Deinard's eyes. (In this book Deinard criticizes the decisive way in which Hovevei Zion called on every Jew to immigrate to Eretz Israel without considering the economic conditions in the country and where the Jews immigrated from).

Ephraim Deinard (1846-1930) - Historian and polemicist, one of the greatest bibliographers in modern times. Deinard was considered a provocative writer who criticized authoritative figures unconditionally. Immigrated from Russia to the United States in the 1890s.
