An interesting collection of 25 postcards depicting the city of Jaffa, various editions. Early 20th century.
There are postcards from the Jaffa Orange series depicting the orange picking of the 'Jaffa Oranges', postcards depicting the Jaffa market, and the beach, the Old City of Jaffa, the residents of Jaffa in traditional dress, 'Gruss Aus' souvenir postcard (one of the images in this postcard shows the synagogue in Rishon Lezion - Sent by mail from Jaffa to Paris in 1897), a postcard with a beach view of Jaffa published by the Eliyahu brothers (from the rare series of colorful postcards issued by the Eliyahu brothers), Vester, and others.
