A long letter on Torah matters in the handwriting and signature of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Zalman Libschitz Aba'd Novhardok to the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Berlin, 9th Elul 1907.
The Gaon opens his letter with extreme titles of honor to Rabbi Chaim Berlin: "The famous great genius, the glory of time, genealogical chain Arugot HaBosem." In his letter, Rabbi Libshitz discussed at length the issues of Gitin (according to the Tos.leaf 42), kiddushin (regarding the study of Truma and ma'aser), and Eruvin (leaf 50), and at the end he doubled on the blessings that both of them will have the privilege of seeing the coming of the Redeemer.
Rabbi Yaakov Zalman Libschitz , a famous genius from Lithuania. Son of the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Libshitz owner of "Brit Ya'akov". One of the leaders of the Brisk community and the right-hand man of the Gra'ch of Brisk. The founder of the Yeshivot in Brisk, and one of the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox community in the state of Lithuania. He was the emissary of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk to the assembly of the organization of the ultra-Orthodox against Zionism, which gathered in Kaunas in 1899. The innovations of his teachings were printed in various books and collections. The "Shadi Chemed" corresponded with him a lot on Halacha matters. A halachic answer he wrote was published in the book "Imrei Shefer" by his brother-in-law, Rabbi Eliyahu Klatskin of Lublin-Jerusalem.
