"For the Day of the Oath" A poster with a transcript of things that were broadcast on the Herut movement's broadcasting station founded by the Irgun on June 28, 1948, in which the organization details the reason for the withdrawal of 5,000 Irgun soldiers from swear to "Hebrew government" Due to 'spilled brother blood' and 'the weapon ship that was destroyed' - when referring to the Altalena ship. A picture of an Irgun soldier was pasted on the top right.

The proclamation details the enormous devotion of the Irgun soldiers to the people and the homeland and on the other hand the desire to retire from the Homeland War due to the Altalena affair: "Bitterness broke through every fence and it was not possible for these soldiers to participate today in that holiday which in fact should have been a feast more than the feast of others of mockers from days gone by, of instigators, betrayers and informers ...". Further appeal to the Irgun soldiers themselves to strengthen them in the ideals of the organization from its inception.
