A collection of about 80 original cartoons made by cartoonist Adar Drian - ink on paper - signed. Drian drew the cartoons for the newspaper "Davar" and the newspaper clippings of the cartoons appear next to the pages of the original cartoons. On top of the cartoons are instructions for printing, as well as the official ink stamp of the "Davar" newspaper. Israel, c. 1960s.

Among other things, there are large original cartoons with the character of Shrulik, 20 for the State of Israel, many cartoons dealing with the political nature of the State of Israel and the state's relationship with the countries of the world, cartoons dealing with the Israeli economy, Jewish-Arab relations, the laws of the state, and more.

Adar Drian was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1931. In his youth he began creating cartoons, which he published in the satirical newspaper Pitigoiul and others. In 1964 he immigrated to Israel with his family and worked as a graphic designer and published many cartoons on a variety of Israeli topics in the largest newspapers in Israel - Ma'ariv, Davar, the children's newspaper "Ha'aretz Shelanu", "HaOlam Hazeh", and was also the graphic designer of the newspaper "Ma'ariv Lanoar". Between the years 1983-1989 he served as the graphic editor of the monthly "Et-Mol". He continued working in Ma'ariv until 1991, when he returned to live in Romania, where he created a daily cartoon for the newspaper Libertatea. In 2004 he returned to live in Israel. Died in 2015, at the age of 84.
