KZ Buchenwald - Buchenwald Concentration Camp - Folder with 8 photographs in postcard format, documenting the various wings of Buchenwald death camp. Issuing the Treasury Council to national memorials in Buchenwald. The second half of the 1940s.

The postcards are all described on their backside: the Weimar prisoners at the time of a roll call; in this cell Paul Schneider was murdered by the SS; the crematorium in the camp - 'Never Again'; a model of the camp barracks and industrial buildings outside the watchtowers; an aerial view of the camp; the main entrance to the camp; the crematoria; a display in memory of the German working class leader Ernst Telemann who was murdered on 18 August 1944.

The various scenes were photographed by Ernst Schafer, except for one photograph showing the masses of prisoners in a parade in the camp courtyard, which was taken from a Nazi archive during the war.

Folder: 14x10 cm. Postcard size: 9x14 cm. Complete folder. Slight tear at the edge of the cover. On the inner side of the cover, there is a detailed overview of the Buchenwald concentration camp and those who were murdered there. Very good condition.
