Cartoons binder by the french artist Albert Dubout, introduction by Gabriel Chevallier, published by DU LIVRE - MONTE-CARLO 1944 - a dedicated and signed copy by the artist Albert Dubout.

Large full-page cartoon panels on a variety of subjects related to French society. Some of the cartoons deal with scenes from World War II.

Albert Dubout (1905-1976) was one of the greatest French cartoonists of the 20th century. For over four decades, his humorous cartoons adorned the pages of French magazines such as Le Rire, Marianne, Eclats de Rire, L'os à Moëlle, Paris-Soir, and Ici-Paris. He also created movie and theater posters, as well as theater decorations, book covers, and album covers. In 1953, French President Vincent Auriol awarded him the Legion of Honor. In 1992, a museum was dedicated to him in Palavas-les-Flots.
