Collection of 30 group photographs of Japan residents in their traditional clothing, which were taken throughout Japan from the end of the 19th century to the 1930s.
Photographs of students in various institutions, communes of women and men in various temples, Japanese military and police personnel who were photographed in groups in various places (one of the photographs shows a group in the background of a Buddha statue), spiritual guides, kindergartens, and more. The collection has not been thoroughly examined by us for the persons photographed.
25 photographs in the collection are group photographs with an average size of 16x13 cm, and 5 photographs of Japanese women in traditional clothing with an average size of 9x7 cm. On the backside of some photographs, there are signs of having been torn from an album. Overall Good Condition.
