Call and request from the great rabbis of Tiberias to come to the aid of Rabbi Yaakov Cohen - Talmid Chacham from the city of Tiberias from the Maggid MiMezrich race - Signatures of great rabbis of Tiberias, led by Rabbi Avraham Zvi Hirsch Halevi Segal - head of the Ashkenazi community and the Rabbis of Tiberias - The geniuses Rabbi Zalman Leib, Rabbi Pinchas Barzel, Rabbi Aharon Shmuel son of Rabbi Moshe, and Rabbi David Yaakov Wolf. Tiberias, mid-19th century.

The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Zvi Hirsch Halevi Segal the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel. Was born, probably in Romania, in 1826. Immigrated to Eretz Israel at the age of 29, with his wife Pearl. He studied at the Wołyń Kollel in Tiberias, and in the mid-1850s he was appointed Ashkenazi rabbi of Tiberias and Rabbi of Tiberias. He also headed the Bikur Cholim and the "Association of the Holy Land" for agricultural settlement. Established a yeshiva in Tiberias, and headed it until the day of his death, Kislev 1894.
