Letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach to Rabbi Yechezkel son of Rabbi Dushinsky, 9 Adar I, 1973.

In his letter, Maran writes about one of the worshipers of the synagogue who asked him at the end of the prayer a halakhic question "Just as asks what the Din" in a certain matter, and Rabbi Shlomo Zalman did not fear that he intended to "remove" from him a Judgment in a matter concerning in a dispute that took place between two litigants, and he answered him simply. In his letter, he clarifies that he do not intend to rule in practice in this way, and details the act: "... pray in the same synagogue that I pray ... And just asked me as someone who asks what a judgment without I could imagine that he meant a judgment between two litigants, and he admits that he made a mistake in giving my brother-in-law something in my name ... G-d forbid in his honor to suspect that I give not only a judgment but even just an opinion without hearing well The two sides face each other, and even that saves myself from the law ... ".
