"I enjoyed that your dignity considers my books" An interesting letter in the handwriting and signature of the genius of Karkinova Rabbi Moshe Haskin to Rabbi Michal Ha'aresh, after visiting him in his Beit Midrash.

In his letter, Rabbi Moshe Haskin expresses his admiration from Rabbi Michal Hasharash, who is one of the "old-generation ... love Torah and scholarship", and adds words of admiration about his large and important library, also bless him to longevity, and other matters.

The Genius Rabbi Moshe Haskin [1872-1950], one of the students and associates of the genius Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spector, served for 15 years as rabbi of Karkinova, where he chaired a preparatory for the Slavodka Yeshiva. During the First World War he moved to serve as a rabbi in Priluki. Immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933. Author of many important books, mainly in the laws of Eretz Israel. Among them is the renowned book 'Kalkalat Shevihit'.
