The Work of Flavius JOSEPHUS translated into English by Sir ROGER L'ESTRANGE Six volumes in one, in which a selection of Flavius writings were arranged (the Antiquities of the Jews, the Wars of the Jews with the Romans, the Life of Joseph, Against apiyon and Addition: The Sanctification of the Maccabees Philo of Alexandria), are translated accurately by the famous translator Roger Lestrange (1616-1704), an interesting figure in itself (political propagandist and warrior side royalists in the English Civil War in the 17th century).
