Letter in the handwriting and signature of the late Rabbi Moshe Rokach of Kazalov. In his letter addressed to the Tzaddik Rabbi Nachman Israel Burstein - one of the most influential in the Breslav Chassidut in Jerusalem - the Rebbe asks to study Mishnayot for the soul of Shabtai Ben Shmuel Dov Ber, as well as to settle his Yartzeit.
The holy and righteous Admor Rabbi Moshe Rokach of Kazalov, One of the greatest poskim in the United States, a tremendously scholar, and a servant of G-d in holiness and purity all his days, one of the great influencers in the Boro Park community, the son of the former Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Rokach, and continued his leadership, descendant Of the Rebbe of the 'Sar Shalom' of Belza ZIA. Son-in-law of the late genius and Tzaddik Rabbi Simcha Bunim Greenberger, rabbi of the Pressburg Synagogue - Chatam sofer in Washington Heights. He established Torah institutions in the town of Chernivtsi in Ukraine where he served as rabbi, On Rosh Hashanah used to pray with the Breslav Chassidim in a kibbutz at the Boro Park Synagogue. This year on the 11th of Nissan, the Rebbe died of the terrible covid 19 epidemic, and he is 78 years old.
