Menora Monthly - illustrated magazine for the Jewish home - a monthly magazine for science, art and literature. First year, first issue. Vienna-Frankfurt am Main-Berlin. German, and Hebrew.

The introduction to the first issue before us reads: "Many are now the Hebrew newspapers which all have a limited tendency: political or religious. But this newspaper has set itself more comprehensive certificates: its aim is to help this aspiration to bridge bridges between the various parties in Judaism and unite on one cultural basis... the Menorah does not belong to any party and its desire is to speak to the Jews of all parties ... This newspaper is dedicated to the home and the Jewish family that has always been a stronghold in Judaism".

The important monthly "Menora", which deals with Jewish culture, was published in the years 1923-1932. The magazine includes many articles on art alongside pictures and illustrations. Among the artists who appeared in the various issues were: Marc Chagall, Max Lieberman, Hannah Orloff, Maurizio Gottlieb, Jacob Steinhart and others; Among the writers: Dubnov, Isaac Babel, Ahad Ha'am, Meir Balavan, Shalom Ash, Arthur Schnitzler, and others. Articles on Zionist issues also appeared, especially in its early years.
