In these words the writer of the haggadah describes the extent of the tragedy of European Jewry:
'And his hand was outstretched on all the remnant of humanity, to establishe the yoke of bondage on people and man a the dispersions of Israel to destroy them from a people as never before throughout the generations...". There is a difficult text that opens with the words:
'Weeping our children in the shadow of gallows'
: We have not heard the wrath of the world ... because you chose us from all nations from Norway, Czechs, British, and in marching our children to gallows, Jewish children, wise children, they know that their blood is not considered ... that you chose us from all the children to be killed in front of your throne ... ', " Yizkor" about those killed in the Holocaust, and more.
Similarly, there are passages that relate to the current reality of the Arab enemy in the Land of Israel, And to the Arab threat on the night of the fifth Seder.
