Passover Haggadah, published by American National Bank. Flags of Israel and the United States, Hatikva. Illustrations.

Haggadah with English translation column versus column. Cover and introduction in Yiddish. On the page before the last page new wording of the anthem "Hatikva": "My brother in all countries hear - every one... because only with the last Jew also the end of our hope". At the top of the anthem there illustrations of the flags of Israel and the United States. It is interesting to note that for the decoration of the cover, a continuous swastika frame was selected (years before the symbol was used as a symbol of the Nazi party of course. The swastika in the original is a symbol of good luck.) The Haggadah contains many illustrations from the Haggadah of Amsterdam. On the last page a recommendation in praise of the virtue of the American International Bank. rare. Does not appear in the National Library.

[2], 63, [2] p. Stains in the cover. Good condition.
