Starting with the rare protocol of the first meeting. Two thick volumes of protocols that include the discussions at the ''People's Council'' meetings and ''The Provisional State Council''. All the protocol booklets - a sequence of four meetings of the ''People's Council'' and forty meetings of the ''Provisional State Council'' - May 16, 1948 to February 3, 1949. Includes the rare protocol of the first meeting of the ''Provisional State Council'' in which among other thing was discussed by the members of the council the text of the Declaration of Independence, the election of Dr. Haim Weizman as President of the People's Council, and more.
The booklet of protocols of the meetings of the ''Council of the People'' includes the first four meetings of the young state of Israel that took place between the 4th and the 14th of May, 1948 (the day of the declaration of independence), and two thick volumes that include historical protocols in which the foundations of the young state of Israel were laid down in the first months of its establishment - from May 16, 1948 (the day after the declaration of independence) until February 3, 1949. Historical protocols of meetings in which many basic laws were set, during which there was an extensive discussion on the nature of the established state, as well as decisions and discussions on emergency matters. Among the topics discussed: the shape of the flag of the State of Israel, the ''Government and Judicial Procedures Ordinance'' (the first piece of legislation in the State of Israel), establishing the six working days and the Sabbath as the day of rest, ''Emergency regulations'', the first state budget, lengthy discussions on the Altalena affair, the ordinance for the Symbol of The State of Israel, the decree of the Constituent Assembly, and more. The provisional councils were the body that eventually led to the Knesset of Israel.

Two thick volumes, 24 cm + booklet ''The People's Council''. The short booklet ''The People's Council'' has moth marks on most of the pages with no damage to the text. The two volumes of the ''Provisional State Council'' have very light moth marks, especially on the first pages. The booklet and the two volumes without Cover. Overall Condition Moderate.
