In the communities of North African Jews, it is customary to read the poem about Yitzhak's Aryd in the midst of rosh Hashana just before the Blowing the shofar, which is "עת שערי רצון להפתח". The beloved piyyut, which deals with the three partners -Abraham, Isaac, and the altar, and is accompanied by a deliberate prayer for mercy and forgiveness thanks to the Holy Fathers, and every year brings and worships the congregation for intense feelings.
