The bank was founded in Tel Aviv in 1931 under the name "Agrobank" and registered as a stock company with a capital of 5,000 t. for the purpose of running a general banking business. In his early years, his activities focused on issuing series of debentures and using funds for redemption of the land, and selling it at favorable prices to Jews, for construction and agriculture. In 1935, he changed his name to the "Bank for Agriculture and Building to Eretz Israel Ltd." Over the years, the scope of his activities has expanded and he has been instrumental in establishing localities and neighborhoods in various parts of the country. The bank purchased and sold at low prices multiple land areas in the north of Tel Aviv, worked to transfer the land of "Tel Aviv Center" to Jews at low prices and convenient payments, purchased 3,500 dunams in the vicinity of Mikveh Israel, and founded the Agrobank neighborhood, making sure to expand important industrial plants. 43x28 cm. The company was founded by the Hebrew Peasants Association and was registered in Tel Aviv in March 1941 with registered capital of 5,000 pound. The members of the directors board of the company were mainly peasants and orchards. At the time of the founding the society, the depression in the plantation colonies reached a peak. The Mediterranean that was closed due to World War II was a final blow after many years of depression. The company was established with the aim of organizing, promoting, developing and assisting the financial and professional economic interests of the Association, and operated subsidiaries such as Amir Supply Company of the Association established in late 1943, Citrus Markets Ltd., Farmer House Ltd. and more. 32x22 cm.
