"HABLAN LOS SOBREVIVIENTES" - Documented testimonies of crimes and martyrdoms, gathered in 1945 by the Jewish Departmental Commission for History in Krakow. Direct translation from the original Polish by Mendel Meiern Laser. Prologue by César Tiempo - "The Survivors Speak" - Testimonies documented about crimes and holy deaths, collected in 1945 by the Jewish Departmental Commission for History in Krakow. Direct translation from the original Polish by Mendel Meiern Laser. Introduction by César Tiempo, published by the Jewish Scientific Institute of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires, 1949 - First Spanish edition accompanied by harsh photographs from the death camps.

A rare collection of detailed early testimonies from former Jewish prisoners in ghettos and death camps describing the atrocities committed by the Nazis against Jews during the war. The book is accompanied by hard-to-watch photographs from the time of Jews in camps such as Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen, Maidanek, Buchenwald, Nordhausen, and others, depicting forced labor, Nazi torture methods, a chilling photograph found in the possessions of a German soldier showing Jews being shot on the edge of a mass grave, Jews starving in camps, the bodies of the deceased, Jewish prisoners who survived as they were found on the day of liberation, and more.

From the introduction: " From testimony number 29: They caught him on the street on December 5th and took him to the gas station. On the way, they caught a child and stripped him at the gas station and threw burning coals on him, and ordered the old man to throw hot ashes on him. The child burned in the fire and the old man went insane... The Nazi regime destroyed almost seven million people simply because they were Jews. This criminal annihilation, the likes of which had never been seen before, was carried out methodically in death camps equipped with modern facilities of immense destructive power - the last word in German 'science'. These pages document the cruelty carried out by an entire army of brutes, from the moment the Jews of Europe were incarcerated... These eyewitness accounts expose the horrors of these crimes and the moral greatness of the martyrs. The book also contains stories of the Jewish culture during this chaos and numerous cases of desperate resistance found in these testimonies."

In continuation of the introduction, César Tiempo writes, "When 'Hablan los Sobrevivientes' was published, some arrogant critics said that its distribution was excessive. We don't think so... after thousands of years of suffering and persecution, after passing through the hell of the bloodshed of concentration camps, Bnei Israel learned to defend freedom and conquer it by their own lives... We have the right to resist tyranny and oppression...".
