Letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Eliezer Menachem Man Shach regarding a family dispute concerning the entire public. Sent to Rabbi Dov Zvi Karlinstein. Important, and rare.
In his letter relating to an important public matter, Rabbi Shach writes: "There is no doubt that we have to do everything we can do to prevent this, and may be affected by it in what everyone will pass on from the family passively, without fights and quarrels, because this is in the public benefit ..."
After his signature, Rabbi Shach added a sentence from which it is implied that he himself immediately went into the depths of the matter: "I immediately send him a letter asking him to refrain from this."
