Three Painted Engravings According to his paintings of Gerard HOET [1648-1733].

Engravings: The Egyptian drowned in the sea [Amsterdam 1728], Jacob goes down to Egypt, Laban and Yaakov make an alliance.

Gerard Hoet: Dutch painter, was published in the world in the monumental design works he created for the Slangenburg castles.

Hoet's work were notable for their faithful loyalty to the language of the Bible. for example, in painting the angels without wings, their faces feminine, innocent. In his scenes he was one of the first to convey the sense of reality as it is despite the spirituality of the Bible.

Size: 36x22 cm, and one: 45x37 cm. very fine condition.
