Three souvenir items from Jerusalem - made by fr. vester [American Colony]. Late 19th century.
1-2. Two chrome-lithographic prints published by Vester - Temple Place, and Rachel's Tomb. On their backs are explanations in three languages: English, French, German. (The lithographic prints were made from photographs taken by the American Colony Photography Department). Same size: 23x18 cm.
3. Oriental Articles of Every Description - Open Booklet by Vester, Early 20th Century. In front, the place of the temple. On the inside pages is a colorful map of the Old City of Jerusalem. On the back of the notebook is an advertisement for Vester's souvenir shop at the Jaffa Gate - Fr. Vester & Co. - A detailed list of all the quality products of Vester and American Colony.
