The girls of HaShomer Hatzair's "Lamatra" group, April 29, 1929. In the photograph, three "Fanya's" are seen: third from the right in the middle row is Fanya Zonder, fourth is Fanya Mossman, the mother of the writer Amos Oz - the tragic axis of his book "Story of Love and Darkness". Far left, Fanya Nagel. All three immigrated to Israel. The one sitting on the left is holding a flag on which is written "Lamatra" in Hebrew, and the symbol of the movement - most of the students of the "Tarbut" gymnasium used to show up to school wearing the uniform of the movement! On the back of the photograph is a dedication from the students to Hanna. Ink stamp of a local photo studio. 9x14 cm.
