Two large and rare press photos - a photograph of Juliana Queen of the Netherlands as a baby, and a photograph of her young daughters.

"The royal baby and toys for her birthday" - a press photo of the baby Juliana surrounded by toys and a bear that she received for her first birthday, released by the press agency on April 30, some time before the death of her mother Princess Wilhelmina in 1948. Size: 22x16 cm. Glued on the back is a piece of paper from the press agency with a description of the photograph.

Photograph of Princess Juliana's daughters Irene and Beatrix - according to the inscription on the piece of paper pasted on the back of the photograph by the press agency that released it, the photographer was Prince Bernhard himself. 22x17 cm. Very Good Condition.

With the occupation of the Netherlands in May 1940, Queen Wilhelmina fled to England with her daughter Juliana, her son-in-law Prince Bernhard and her granddaughters Beatrix and Irena. When the German bombings of England began, and it seemed that the shelter of the Dutch royal house was no longer safe, the royal family was moved to Canada, where the third daughter Margriet was born. Queen Juliana reigned in the Netherlands consecutively from 1948 to 1980.
