Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky [1913-1979]. As a young man, he studied at the "Sha'ar HaTorah" yeshiva in Grodno with Rabbi Shimon Shakop, at the Mir Yeshiva in Poland, and at the Lomza Yeshiva in Petah Tikva. For years, he learned once a week with Rabbi Yitzchak Ze'ev Soloveitchik, who influenced his teaching. With the establishment of the Ponivez Yeshiva by Rabbi Yosef Shlomo Kahneman, In the year 1944, Rabbi Shlomo Kahneman called on Rabbi Rosovsky to preside over the yeshiva, and In this appointment served until his death. After his passing, his writings were published in the books of "Shiurey Rabbi Shmuel" and "Zichron Samuel".
