Gerard Hoet: Dutch painter, was published in the world in the monumental design works he created for the Slangenburg castles.
Hoet's work were notable for their faithful loyalty to the language of the Bible. for example, in painting the angels without wings, their faces feminine, innocent. In his scenes he was one of the first to convey the sense of reality as it is despite the spirituality of the Bible.
