Official notice on behalf of the Palestine Police - trilingual, English-Arabic-Hebrew, offering a cash reward of 500 pounds plus 1000 pounds offered by the Jewish Agency to anyone who provides information about the wanted suspects - the murderers of Dr. Haim Arlosoroff . Published the day after the murder on 6.17.1933. One of the rare posters related to the Arlosoroff murder.
The notice states that the reward will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two men implicated in the murder of Chaim Arlosoroff on the Tel Aviv beach on the night of Friday, June 16, 1933. It also contains a detailed description of the two men's body structure: The first: "Male, slightly above medium height, healthy body... fair complexion, unpleasant expression... he has a habit of standing with his legs apart, his gait emphasizes duck movement...", the second: "Male, short, well-built, about age 30... unpleasant expression... makes Oriental hand gestures". It also reports that the two carried an automatic pistol and electric torch. Signed in print and with the ink stamp of A. Saunders acting in place of the Inspector General of the Palestine Police.
