"Some Halachot from the Yad HaChazaka to Morenu Verabeynu HaRambam" - a rare edition of the book "HaMadah" which was printed under the watchful eyes of the Russian censors, St. Petersburg 1850. Printed by Mr. Karl Kray. Study edition for 'Second-grade schools in the first class'.
The title page reads: 'Printed according to the responsa of our rabbis and scribes ...' Among the names that appear is Rabbi Menachem N.Y. Dlyubovich - The Admor Ha"Tzemach Tezedek". At the end of the book "Ahava" Appear additions from various rabbis that clarify that HaRamba"m intention in the word "ovdey Kochavim" to the ancient Gentiles, and not to those who observers the seven mitzvot of the sons of Noah. Things written by Rabbi Heidenheim on the matter, as well as things written by the geniuses of Vilna.
These three additions were brought in this edition because of the horror from the Russian censorship which as stated on the page after the title page: "Published by order of the Government"
