A photograph signed by Valenda with a certificate of authenticity.
WALLENDA Born in 1979, the seventh generation of a well-known circus family, he holds nine Guinness records on acrobatic stunts, the most notable of which is a 550-meter-long rope that stretches over the Niagara Falls in June 2012 amid heavy fog and strong winds. In this he set a world record over his predecessors (the Great Blondine 150 years earlier) who crossed the Niagara on a rope in much narrower places. A year later he became the first person in history to cross the Grand Canyon by walking a 460-meter-long rope at a height of 1500 meters, without security. Although Valanda's exploits are dangerous on a global scale, he never tripped or was injured during his performances. Wallenda was asked many times why he risked his life by walking on a rope at tremendous heights over and over again, and he replied: 'I know that for a normative person I look like a madman, but walking on a rope is in my blood, something for which I was created.'
One of the beautiful photographs taken in the 21st century.
Size: 25x21 cm, with authentic authenticity, very fine condition.
