Rebbe Zvi Hirsch Rosenbaum of Kretschniff-Siget - "Rabbi Hirschla" [1920-2006]. From his childhood he was known as a gifted child and he was sent at the age of 9 to grow up with his elders in Siget and studied with him until the bar mitzvah. After the bar mitzvah, he went to study at the Stanislov Yeshiva. During the Holocaust he was taken to the Auschwitz death camp. After the Holocaust, he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, and arrived to Jerusalem in Tamuz in the year of 1945, where he studied at the Maharitz Dushinsky yeshiva, while doing Tisch while a fellow. The Admor established his abode in Kiryat Ata and founded a Kirya called Siget Housing and established Kretschniff-Siget Hasidim in Israel and around the world.
