An anti-Semitic postcard that mocks Eastern European Jews, the 'gambler' who emigrated to Argentina and the spoiled Sephardi pronunciation influenced by his mother tongue - Yiddish. Local Publishing, Argentina, early 20th century. rare.
A group of people playing roulette. All dressed in evening clothes especially for the occasion, while the Jew dressed in everyday clothes. All the participants look at the Jew with curiosity and amazement as he waves a 1$ bill and declares that he is ready for 'Yo mi joigo enteros' which means ''bet it all". The phrase 'bet it all' appears on the margins of the postcard in a grotesque manner to the language of the Eastern European Jew who speaks in Yiddish accent, which is in fact spelled Spanish: ' Yo me juego enteros . Sent by mail in 1945. Very fine condition.
