Rare. List of inscriptions from gravestones and a description of Firkowitsch's travels in Crimea and the Caucasus, mainly during the years 1839-1849.

The text of hundreds of inscriptions from Jewish cemeteries in Crimea, in areas such as Chufut-Kale (Sela haYehudim), Mangup, Solkhat, Kafa, and Gozleve. A detailed list of the name of the deceased, year of death, and full inscription on their gravestone. Firkowitsch (1787-1874), a religious sage of the Karaim and collector of manuscripts and old books. He forged many gravestones to prove the antiquity of the Karaite settlement in Crimea. Separate title pages for each part of the book. Long introduction about the author's travels to Jewish cemeteries, and events that happened to him.
