The Gaon Rabbi Mordechai son of Rabbi Zvi Klatzky [1870-1933], a student of the Volozhin Yeshiva in his youth, was ordained by the Natzi'v in 1892 when he was only 22 years old, And studied for about two years with Rabbi Shmuel Mohliver in Bialystok and also ordained by him in 1897. In 1905 he moved to the United States and served as rabbi in Altona (Pennsylvania) and then in Bangor in the state of Maine at the northeastern end of the United States and then - at the latest in 1927 - was appointed rabbi in Boston where a unique community called the "Shas Society" was organized.
